Just a quick overview of what I expect:
- Be prepared! Always have your notebook – I expect a spiral notebook with 5 dividers. Also, always have your textbook, assignments, and anything else required for class… like pencils and pens. I only have a few for you to borrow, so please leave your ID when you borrow a pencil.
- There will be notes given daily. This will help hone your note-taking skills for your college years. Please refrain from disrupting lecture by shouting out… but please ask questions! Just raise your hand first.
- Homework will be collected at the beginning of the class at which it is due – please place it in the appropriate tray for your period. I will put graded work in the “out” trays – pick it up when you can. ALWAYS complete the readings – you are responsible for the material in the book AND notes. Each unit’s homework assignment is available here and is due on the day of the test – this will be your study guide for your exam.
- I do NOT enjoy getting late work. You will lose 10% of the overall point total for each day late, unless you have an excused absence.
- If you need help, please come talk to me before or after class. I always have an open-door policy and am willing to help yo, but I don’t have ESP. PLEASE tell me if you need a hand.
- ALWAYS do your best on projects, tests, and papers. This is an honors class, and my expectations are high!

10% is too low, make it like -50% (negative). Yeah!
