I feel like it was not warranted because Rama had no idea what Sita had done with the king. But also since they were in a relationship he should have trusted her completely. After the fire trial, Rama should have let the whole thing go since Sita survived through the fire. I thought it was completely outrageous when he banned her from the palace just because other people thought she had "slept with another man." I really liked the jazz music because it made the movie come alive and fit perfectly together. The ending of the myth says to me that i should always trust the ones that are close to me unless i have complete proof that they did something wrong.

i feel that rama was not in love with sita nearly as much as she was in love with him... however by the end of the movie, sita was fed up and extrordinarily rude to rama. i feel that ramas love was not warrented, he should have trusted her!!!! it is rediculous that he though she would cheat on him, especially since she loved him way more than he could have ever imagined... i mean if she had cheated, why would she have tried so hard to prove him wrong in the first place??? however i can toally understand how he doesnt trust her fully, i know that trust is keen in a relationship, but come on... be honest with yourselves here, how many people can honestly say they trust their partner 110 percent; not many. so i do believe he was wrong, but i can relate to the no trust thing, but the difference is that if somebody is willing to do almost anything to prove their loyalty to you... then obviously they are telling you the truth. For instance with the fire trial... i know that i would NEVER do anything like that just to prove my loyalty... heck no! He should have just let it go after that! the ending to the myth makes me appreciate all that i have and the trust i have been given by my friends, especialy the trust that i have been allowed to share with others close to me.
I enjoyed the music to an extent, however i felt that it dragged on sometimes, as if the songs were too long, maybe it is because i am not a huge fan of blues, who knows?

I Think He Was So Stupid Not To Trust Her , In A Relationship Communication Is Key . If There Is No Effort To Communicate And Her Each Other The "Relationship" Is Essentially Pointless . Theres An Old Saying That States The Guilty Ones Speak First , Meaning The Eventually Tell On Themselves Without Being Pressured , If She Really Did Cheat On Him She Would Have Eventually Let Up In Her Story. But, She Pushed And Pushed To Get Him To Believe Her, Which She Would Not Have Done If She Were Lying. Because He Refused To Believe Her , She Died In The Process Of Trying To Get Him To See The Truth . This Is His Fault Because It Could Have Been Avoided Of Only He Would Have Listened To His WIFE Instead Of Other People . As For The Movie It Self I Found It Entertaining Minus The Music ( I Dislike Jazz ) But It Went Well With The Movie So Bravo :)

I think that that Rama's treatment of Sita was not warranted. He should’ve trusted her if he loved her so much and not believe what others say. He could’ve been a little suspicious, but telling her to leave the kingdom when she was and wasn’t pregnant was a little over the top. Yes i could understand him being a little jealous because she was away, but I couldn’t understand why he was so mean. He should’ve let things slide after the first trial because she already proved that she was pure. She got pregnant after they were together so he shouldn’t assume it wasn’t his children. The myth tells me to trust others that you love. Don’t treat them bad because something might happen to them and you'll regret all that you did. I enjoyed the jazz music. It made it easier to follow along with the story and more enjoyable. The animation was great because it also helped me understand what was going on. I enjoyed this movie and learned a great lesson from it.

Honestly, I think that he was stupid for not trusting her in the first place because trust is very important in a relationship. Without trust, there basically isn't anything. There would be too many insecurities. Also, if she did cheat on him, I don't think she would've tried so hard to prove him wrong. He was blinded by the lies and in the end he lost the girl forever. On the other hand, it really isn't his fault either because like any other man, he had his doubts too. But he was ignorant and didn't want to listen to her. This just shows you to have faith in people and to trust the ones you love. I also think the Jazz music was great. The movie would have been boring without any background music so it was a nice touch.

In my opinion, I think that it was warranted. It is not like Rama could read Sita's mind and see if she was telling the truth or not. Then again, since they were in love then, Rama should have trusted her that she was not lying to him and would never anyway. He did love her enough to go and save her when she was kidnapped so, why couldn't he love her enough to believe her? Also, if she was able to prove that she was pure why couldn't he just accept it and be happy? It was really mean when he banished her from the kingdom because everyone thought Rama was an idiot for letting her come back even though she slept in another man's house. Of course in the end when Sita proves her final way that she is pure, Rama believes her but it was too late. I enjoyed that the jazz music used in this movie fit perfectly with the story and it helped show what was going on during a scene. The myth tells me that I should always listen and trust people that are important to me in life before they are gone. I really enjoyed watching this movie it was a really fun way to learn about an old myth.If only all stories could be told like this!

As i watched this film, many different thoughts about the movie went through my head. One of the first things I noticed was the story playing in the background that was not a part of the myth, but was the animator's own personal recollection. I enjoyed these occasional clips; they made the story easier to relate too. Another aspect of this film that I noticed was how Rama's treatment to Sita changed over the course of the movie. In the beginning, Rama and Sita loved each other greatly and would never let anything happen to one another. Once Sita has been captured and Rama comes to save her, his views, respect, and love all change. He is disgraced because he believes that he has been unfaithful to him, even though she has been perfectly loyal to Rama. He doesn't want her anymore and tells her that she is free to go as she pleases, but being loyal to him, she stays with him. One trial he put Sita through was a fire trial; in this trial, he threw Sita into a big pit of fire, so he could test how faithful she was. I think he should have stopped there with the trials because if she could survive a fire, then it should've been clear that she was not lying to him. After they return to the palace, he is forced to banish her from his reign because he cannot be viewed as someone who stays with their wife when she has slept in another man's house. In the end, once Sita is engulfed by Mother Earth, Rama realizes that she is telling the truth and (from what I understood) finds he still loves her and now knows that she never was unfaithful. Another point that I feel is worth mentioning is the three figures that explained a lot of the story; not only were these figures interesting and funny, but overall they made the story easier to understand. The ending of this myth tells me that sometimes it is important to trust someone, because if you don't, bad things may happen to you. On a final note, I found that the jazz music was very entertaining and made the entire story fit together. However, there were times that I felt could've used different music such as the fight scenes; these scenes were gory and really deserved something that would compliment them better. Nevertheless, I found this movie to be very informative, funny and entertaining.

Well, Rama's treatment towards Sita was obviously bad especially at the end. He never loved her as much as she loved him. Therefore Rama's love wasn't warranted. There were some parts that seemed tricky to me, because I truly believe that most of this myth is made up, such as the "magical deer" that distracted Rama. However, if this were true, Rama should have not let things slide after the first trial of fire, that to me would have been enough prove that Sita was pure. But, since she did not have his unconditional love it did not matter. The ending to me seemed like a very sad thing that had to happen at some point. No matter what Sita did he would not believe her ,so that was the only way. Only then Rama was convinced that Sita was not "contaminated" but of course it was too late. In my opinion, he did not deserve her.

It was warrent because Rama was confused and wasn't quite sure if Sita was leaving him for the king, but at the same time Rama shouldn't have doubted Sita's love for him. I understood the treatment Rama had put Sita through. Rama should have let things slide after Sita went through a painful trail of fire just, to prove how loyal she is to her husband. The ending of the myth says to me that always trust your loved ones, and never doubt their love for you. The jazz made the movie quite entertaining and, at some times humorous. In the end it was a entertaining myth movie to watch.
