APWH Southernization Resources/Readings/Activities

If you were absent today in class, please make arrangements to join up with a group to work on the Southernization project. Attached are the readings and instructions.

Each class should have four big groups (China, India, the Islamic Caliphates, and Mongols/Europe), one for each secondary resource. I counted the little groups that you formed off in class. Each little group is responsible for two questions for their bigger group reading, and they’re also responsible for participation in the broader discussion that we will have. Translation: you’re responsible for reading all of the things.
