UPDATE: If you were absent today (1/15), you need to download and complete this chart(summarize, please) using your textbook. Then please give me a 1-2 paragraph written summary of the similarities you noticed between the ends of these empires.
The first project for unit one is an autopsy of one of the following empires. You are responsible for your own research:
- Yuan Dynasty
- Mali
- Delhi Sultanate
- Byzantine Empire
- Kievian Rus
- Abbasid Caliphate
Please download the instructions here if you have misplaced them. Disregard the different empires – I had to adjust them for the appropriate time periods.
The Conor-Demarest Empire model will also prove helpful to help you synthesize how the civilizations grew and fell.
You need at least two sources additional to your textbook. . Please bring your own laptop/tablets if you can on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
We will present your autopsies on Wednesday.
